The Origin of the name 'Vacant Fear' Have you ever been at a public event? Where there were many port-a-potties and only port-a-potties? You stand outside them for hours contemplating whether or not to go in. It says 'Vacant' but you are so very afraid... that there is some big naked guy in there waiting for prey like yourself... never happened to you? Really? Oh come on I can't be the only one... The Birth of the Masterpice One lovely afternoon Kayla was sitting all alone on her bed when she found and empty kleenex box on her floor next to some rubber bands. She thought it was quite odd but as she picked up those objects she created her very first masterpiece... she called her invention the guitar. A couple afternoons later when Kayla noticed that her door was locked by an infestation of squirrels. All of a sudden an emotion ran through her and she started to play her very first song. She sat there for hours... contemplating how to make this song better... if only she had... a drink. After she had her drink she realized the song was still the same... it hadn't changed... not one bit. That night something came to her in the form of a dream a dream that consisted of angels, chocolate bars, bunny rabbits, a telephone book, Egyptians, pie, Mr Sexy Voice man in a pink leopard print thong... but what could it all mean. Really what did it mean? Anyone? Hello? She awoke with a ringing in her ear... it was the phone... and as she stumbled across her room falling upon multiple things... she managed to say "hello?" Kaili woke up that morning in a sweat, for she had a nightmare. This nightmare consisted of angels, chocolate bars, bunny rabbits, a telephone book, Egyptians, pie, Mr Sexy Voice man in a pink leopard print thong (she liked it)...or was it a dream. She stumbled to her kitchen to fetch a pail of water... when she saw something hanging up in her living room it was that picture of Kayla. You know the one. She knew immediately that she had to call Kayla. "Kayla is that you?" "Hello?" "Kayla I just had a dream... and suddenly I knew I had to call you." Just then Kayla had a revelation. She knew that missing link... that untied knot... it was Kaili! She quickly awakened fully and said "Kaili, I have the best idea... I play guitar right and I need someone who can sing!" To that Kaili replied "Jess?" Kayla quickly was dissapointed with Kaili's stupidity but kept her guessing cause Kayla is a jerk. "Is it Heather Kaili asked" Kayla at this point was frustrated and said "YOU!, even though I love Heather and her dad" At this moment Vacant Fear was born. Kayla and Kaili spent endless hours together in Kayla's basement writing songs... playing them... and other such things. They played show after show... people seemed to like them but Vacant Fear wasn't full yet... they just weren't complete. After their first album was made and distributed Kayla and her friend Blair jammed in the her basement... and he was continuously singing their songs... and dancing around to them. Kayla looked at him and saw that twinkle in his eye... like in the movies. Then she realized... now we have someone to attract the ladies and thus VACANT FEAR WAS BORN with it's newests and hottest member Blair.
